Yellowpages site launches search engine

The yellowpages.travel website has added new features that will allow visitors to the site to surf the top 12 travel sites for hotel bookings and car hire from one place. Now websites like hotels.com, kayak.com and expedia.com can all be accessed and compared from a single location.
Yellowpages.travel is the very first website to combine these popular sites, and as an added feature, users can download a firefox or explorer toolbar from the site. The company says it will donate 15% of its profits to charities, and that users will not receive any spam or junkmail in connection with their site.
Company spokesman Matt Richards says, “Our overall revenues are high while our overhead remains fairly low. Our company and our larger sister company can afford to donate some of the profits to benefit good causes. We can comfortably give away 15-20% of our profits while still remaining very profitable for our shareholders. Major corporations need to take the lead in times of lower economic growth and slowdown; the YellowPages being one of the most respected is no different.”
