The World Travel Awards were held recently in Abu Dhabi, but for those of us hwo couldn’t make it, there is now a World Travel Awards channel on youtube, the uber-famous website that lets you share videos. A quick surf over to www.youtube.com/worldtravelawards will allow you to see parts of the ceremony in Abu Dhabi as well as past events held in New York and London.

With over 1,000 views already, the vice president of World Travel Awards Manon Han says, “We are pleased to have our own channel on the number one video sharing site in the world. This is a very positive extension of our successful relationship with cutting edge media.”

“The YouTube platform will allow nominees and winners to subscribe to the World Travel Awards channel, so that each time we post new videos of our regional and global gala ceremonies and award winners, our subscribers can watch the best that the travel industry has to offer on YouTube,” continued Han.

The awards started back in 1993 to acknowledge achievement in the travel industry and have been going strong ever since. Votes for these awards are tallied form industry professionals, and so are especially coveted by award seekers, ans winning one automatically validates their place in the industry.
