Wikidealz.com is a shopping website driven by community based users, which hopes to make a name for itself this holiday season with its travel deals section. The site works by members tossing in their two cents about things they’ve fond on the net, all in effort to hopefully fish out the best deals on the net and pass on the knowledge with their online community of pseudo-friends.
Co-founder of wikidealz.com Joe Farrier says, “There is tremendous demand for our type of shopping platform from both savvy and novice online consumers. Savvy shoppers can easily share their knowledge beyond their immediate friends and family and get paid in the process. How the company plans to convince the public that its significantly different from the old model of a pyramid scheme remains to be seen, with the payola slide barely hidden beneath the community website veneer of ones and zeroes.
