Parent company Starwood has just announced that its Westin brand of hotels is set to make its sub continental debut in India’s capital city of Delhi. The Westin Sohna Resort will include spas and recreational facilities as well as what guests have come to expect staying in other Westin properties in other countries. The resort is a mere 90 minutes from Delhi’s international airport, and is a great place to get away for a weekend and recharge the batteries before being re-battered the next business week.

There are 97 suites and deluxe rooms, all of which have the latest technological gadgets installed. Regional vice president for Starwood hotels and resorts for India, Nepal and Bangladesh Stephen Ford says, “As the first of several Westin hotels to open in India, The Westin Sohna Resort will introduce our renowned brand to this exciting, fast-growing market. We are confident that the luxurious accommodations and instinctive services provided by this new Westin resort will enable tourists and business travelers to enrich their mind, body and spirit.”
