Virgin offers online check-in incentives

Check in for a Virgin Atlantic flight online this summer and the low-cost airline will reward you with vouchers for discounts on their onboard shop.

All flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester taking off between August 1st and September 30th will be eligible for the offer.

Customers checking in online will be able to print out a discount voucher aong with their check-in confirmation. The offer allows £6 off every £30 spent on in-flight Retail Therapy Shopping items. Retail Therapy has brand name items in the hundreds for sale on board.

The offer also provides discounts and vouchers which are redeemable in a number of duty-free shops in Heathrow Terminal 3 and Gatwick’s South Terminal.

“We hope that this promotion will encourage passengers to check-in online before their trip as it means that on arrival at the airport, they simply hand over their luggage at the ‘Bag Drop’ desk and go straight through security, making the whole process much quicker and stress free for them,” said Virgin Atlantic’s Paul Dickinson.
