If you can manage to book your flight before July 5th, Virgin Atlantic has offered a block of discounted seats in its economy class to the major airports of India departing from London. The conditions are that you must stay for at least one Saturday and you must return within twelve months.

The valid dates of travel for flights to Mumbai are for departure between July 1st and August 16th, for Delhi you must travel between August 5th and August 16th. Travel on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will bring an extra charge.

The average time it takes to fly from London is 9 hours and the discounted price for flights to both Mumbai and Delhi start from £445

Each seat in Virgin’s economy class is fitted with personal seat-back entertainment systems.

Not a bad deal, better than both India and British Airways.

How is flying with Virgin anyway? I like the seat back personal entertainment systems, but what’s their service like?
