Posted on: August 6th, 2008 by Dave BessVirgin Atlantic has chosen CWCT (Commonwealth Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation) to be the transport provider for its premium passengers on all its flights across New England. This deal which becomes operational from the beginning of August 2008 was declared by the head of Commonwealth Worldwide, Dawson Rutter from its main corporate office in Boston. Deeming it as an important milestone in the organisation’s record, Rutter expressed satisfaction at working with a top-notch and respected brand like Virgin Atlantic. Commonwealth joins the league of 9 companies that currently cater to the Upper Class passengers of Virgin Atlantic in the U.S. Rutter emphasized that there was a great deal of similarity in both organisations’ commitment to high standards of customer care and professional competence.
Virgin Atlantic is credited with being the primary commercial airline company to start offering transport by limousine to its Upper Class passengers, at no additional cost. Through this service, Virgin Atlantic undertakes around 90000 trips with limousines and chauffeurs being provided by various transport companies like Commonwealth. Commonwealth that will account for 5000 out of the total number of passenger trips that Virgin Atlantic undertakes will largely operate in the area of New England.
Commonwealth’s sophisticated systems will ensure an unbroken route to the FAA tracking procedure thereby making sure that passengers experience a smooth ride after landing on ground. Every Upper-Class passenger on the Virgin Atlantic on arriving at Boston will have a Commonwealth limousine and chauffeur to take him home, night or day.
