Beginning in October this year, US Airways will be offering flights between Philadelphia and Dublin throughout the year.

The four times a week service is scheduled to kick off on October 28th. Flights will depart Dublin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Return flights from Philadelphia will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Previously US Airways operated flights to Dublin only in the summer months. They continue to offer flights to the west Irish city of Shannon from May to October.

There are a number of other US Airways year round destinations in the UK including Glasgow in Scotland and London Gatwick and Manchester in England.

Andrew Nocella, the senior vice president for US Airways said, “With the addition of year-round service to Dublin, US Airways will now serve 12 European cities for the winter season.”
