Toronto to extol itself at Arab conference
Posted on: April 29th, 2008 by Neill ZerkThe Dubai International Convention & Exhibition centre held in Dubai will host a Canadian representative with the Tourism Toronto and Niagara parks Commission at the ATM show, both sending reps to the trade show to promote Canada’s biggest city and the natural wonder of Niagara Falls, a tourist destination in its own right a short drive from the metropolis.
Vice president of sales at Tourism Toronto Roseanne Longo says, ‘The United Arab Emirates is an emerging market for leisure, meetings and business travel to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and through our presence at the ATM we hope to expand upon business contacts and destination awareness with both the trade and consumers who attend the show. We have been very encouraged by the positive dialogue and interest we have received from the industry during our past visits.’
Two of the regions premier airlines offer direct flights to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, Emirates and Etihad.
