Top Airlines revealed in survey
Posted on: April 17th, 2008 by Bobby V-JonesTripAdvisor’s SeatGuru survey of the world’s airlines has shown which airlines are in the top five for food, amenities, etc, as well as identifying what travellers really want from their flight experience. Of the 1,600 travellers surveyed, almost half reported that the number one service on a flight is their seatback television screen, while a quarter of those polled said a good meal is what they value the most. The number one service passengers said they’d be willing to pay extra for is a bed.
As far as amenities are concerned, Virgin Atlantic came in at number one, followed by Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Emirates Airways and JetBlue. When it comes to airline food, most of us still don’t look forward to meals on planes, but some airlines are changing our perceptions of the plane meal, and the top airlines that serve up a plate you’ll actually want to finish are Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Air France and Continental.
