Thrifty expands to Oman

Thrifty Car Rental is a well-established brand in The United States, and the company is currently expanding its operations in to the Gulf area, notably Oman. In a deal with OTE, Thrifty has acquired 150 new Chevrolet vehicles for its Oman fleet.

Cars including models from Caprice, Optra, Tahoe and Aveo will be used in the region, and the sheer volume will expand inventory at its Oman locations such as Muscat International Airport, Sohar, Ruwi, Salalah Downtown, Al Khuwair and Salalah Airport.

The Thrifty Car Rental franchise in Oman is handled by the Al Haditha Group, whose managing director and chairman Murtadha Jaffer says, “With the induction of these Chevrolet vehicles, we are quite confident that the customers will experience safety, luxury, comfort and excellent performance from them. The Chevrolet cars offer style, luxury combined with performance & 360 degree safety and security.
