India’s jet Airways has announced that it will add three new routes to its schedule that already includes destinations like Bangkok, New York, Toronto and Singapore. April 14th will be the day that Jet Airways begins service to San Francisco, Hong Kong and Dubai. The Mumbai-Hong Kong route will use a Boeing B737-800, the Mumbai-Abu Dhabi will utilise an Airbus A330 and the Mumbai-San Francisco will fly a Boeing B777 with a stopover in Shanghai.

Jet Airways’ chairman Naresh Goyal says, “We have seen increased demand for expansion of our route network and the introduction of these new routes enables Jet Airways to grow its presence in the US, Gulf and Asia-Pacific regions and we don’t plan to stop there. My vision is that by 2010, the airline should be rated among the top five airlines in the world. Having changed the way people fly in India, we are now taking to the world our very own brand of service and style that epitomises the spirit of New India.”
