Passengers aboard Continental Airlines flight 1970 from Amsterdam to Newark last week had to hold their noses against the stench of sewage overflowing from full toilets on the plane.

“To be blatantly honest, I was more nervous than I had ever been on a flight,” said passenger Collin Brock. “I’ve never felt so offended in all my life. I felt like I had been physically abused and neglected. I was forced to sit next to human excrement for seven hours.”

Toilets on the plane started spewing sewage half way through the flight.

The plane had already made a pit stop for lavortory repairs after taking off from Amsterdam. The plane stayed overnight in Shannon, Ireland while being repaired. But when the plane took off the next morning, it was almost immediately apparent that the repairs had not worked.

Although the plane had landed to repair the same problem the day before, the airline made the decision not to land to repair the problem again and continued with the flight.

“I don’t know how you can say a plane needs to be grounded one day for a problem that’s not as major as a problem the next day, and it doesn’t qualify for being grounded,” said Brock.

There were more than 200 passengers aboard the aircraft and only one bathroom that was partially functional. Passengers received a $500 voucher for the inconvenience.

Wow. It’s not often that I’m shocked and appalled but this story is both shocking and appalling.

oh come on, I can think of much worse things that could happen. Not that it doens’t sound distressing but people would have complained if the flight had been delayed or cancelled. People complain about everying
