Think twice before speeding in Norfolk

Motorists of Britain beware, speeding is a danger to lives, and in Norfolk, a group of students has taken it upon themselves to let speeders know what they are thinking. Working with local police, the kids are taking their anti-speeding message seriously, and if drivers wish to avoid the fine of 60 quid and three points off their licence, they can subject themselves to a verbal lashing by some students.

Norfolk Police Sergeant Granham Dalton says, “The personal message has quite a high impact on the drivers and they sit up and listen.”

Tuckswood Primary School in Norfolk had their panel of children ready to berate speeders, with one child saying, “People who go to this school are aged between four and 10 years old. Please think about us and don’t speed when you drive.”

One motorcyclist who was caught speeding and took the option to be told off by a student said, “It made me feel a bit awful when the little kids were talking to me.”
