In order to prepare for its role as host of the upcoming Olympic games, a number of strange initiatives have been undertaken in Beijing. The most recent has caused a significant amount of controversy within China. Pigs are currently being raised in order to provide a special diet for athletes attending the games.

The pigs are being fed a diet of entirely organic food and are being exercised for two hours each day in order to produce tender, tasty meat. The pig’s regime is better than that of the majority of America’s population, not to mention the people of China.

One reason why special pork may be required for Olympic athletes is that the quality of pork being served to the average person in China may be well below par. In fact, the practice raises questions as to just how light the levels of substances like growth hormones in Chinese pork really is. If it may interfere with the legality of Olympic athletes, what is it doing to the health of the average local person?

The participating athletes should keep an eye on those pigs. After the completion of their organic food diet, these athletic, vegetarian animals can easily compete with human atlhetes and probably good for several world records such as weightlifting, wrestling, rugby, and throwing the hammer!
