American Airlines flew 192 flights out of Manchester Airport during the season, from Manchester to Boston and Chicago. The US carrier had a punctuality rate of 91.67 per cent.
A close contender for the title of most punctual airline was Euromanx. Based in the Island of Man, Euromanx had a punctuality rate of 91.62 per cent for its 394 flights.
In third and fourth position were Singapore Airlines and Etihad Airways respectively. My Travel was named the most punctual charter airline at Manchester Airport, although they came in fifth place overall.
That being said, the travel group operated more flights than most other airlines in contention with a total of 550 flights out of Manchester during the winter season.
Manchester Airport is among the top five airports in the UK and has flights to more destinations than any other airport in the country. Manchester Airport’s head of aviation development, Tim McDermott commented, “”We are really pleased that our top performing airlines are achieving such consistently high standards.
“Punctuality is very important to passengers and the smooth running of the airport, and these awards are testament to the hard work of the airlines.”

Is it Euromanx or Euromax? Either way I have never heard of that airline before. I’m surprised to see American Airlines getting the top score for being on time, would have though the European carriers had that one for sure.

The question is: how many people know about airline rankings for being on time and if you did, would it affect who you fly with?
