A new promotional package called TGVair has been launched in partnership with Air Tahiti Nui and the French high-speed train service, the TGV. TGVair will provide train links to 16 popular destinations in the country for passengers arriving in Paris on Air Tahiti Nui.

Passengers coming from Australia can take advantage of prices as low as A$2599 from Sydney and A$2729 from Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne, taxes excluded. Once  having touched down at Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, train tickets aboard the TGV are prices at $220 pp to Lyon, $254 for a ticket to Bordeaux in the fabulous French wine country and $254 to reach Marseille in the far south.

Regional director in Australia for Air Tahiti Nui says, “Air Tahiti Nui’s two-stop service to Paris, via idyllic Tahiti and exciting Los Angeles, can now go even further with the TGV alliance, which offers travellers a convenient and easy way to discover France. TGVair enables travellers to transfer from plane to train without the need to repurchase a ticket or collect baggage – a very attractive and effortless option.”
