Singapore Airlines goes double daily on Singapore-London Route

Singapore Airlines will keep running its third daily flight by a Boing-747. Second daily service is planned to run from Singapore under code SQ 318 and the return journey will be under code SQ321. New flights will fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, once manufacturer Airbus delivers sixth A380 to Singapore Airlines in coming September. Singapore Airlines is presently operating SQ318 and SQ321 flights four times a week.
Singapore Airlines first plied A380 on Singapore-London route in March 2008. Later the frequency was increased from daily to 11 times a week in July, 2008. Singapore has daily A380 service for the Singapore-Sydney and Singapore-Tokyo route as well. Singapore Airlines was the first one to deploy A380s.
A380s boasts of stunning individual cabins for the fliers. Dubbed as ‘Singapore airlines Suites’, these cabins are a crème de la crème way to travel. It has been awarded as ‘Best Airline Suite’ by Wallpaper Magazine Awards. Singapore Airlines has not restricted its innovation to the luxury class. New aircrafts also feature award winning Business class with widest seats in its category. Economy class also features the best in its category. All the classes are equipped with Krisworld, a distinguished entertainment system.
A380 are not only the largest passenger aircrafts, but also the quietest ones. Singapore Airlines’ A380s carry 471 passengers in three separate categories. While economy class accommodates 399 passengers, Business class is equipped for 60 people. Ultra deluxe Singapore Airlines suites have the capacity for 12 passengers.
