SIA and TA target UK
Posted on: February 1st, 2008 by Emily WelchFor the entire month of February, Singapore Airlines and Tourism Australia will launch a campaign coordinated to get people to Australia on Singapore Airlines. The campaign will advertise online and on television, and extols the virtues of Australia and the excellent service passengers will receive from Singapore Airlines on their way there.
The advertising campaign is meant to spark interest in SIA’s Airbus A380 routes. The Singapore to Sydney route is already operational, and with the Singapore/London route opening in March, the way from London to Sydney is set with the largest commercial aircraft ever built.
Marketing manager of Singapore Airlines Tony Lusk said, “With 28 flights a week from the UK and excellent onward connections to Australia, working with Tourism Australia is a natural partnership. The arrival of the A380 into London is a proud moment for Singapore Airlines and we are delighted that from 18 March we will offer our customers unprecedented comfort, space and luxury from London to Sydney aboard the world’s largest passenger aircraft on one of our three daily services.”
