Salto access control systems have been selected by a small West Kent, England hotel to secure its guest rooms.  But Salto is not just for small hotels, a luxury hotel in the Middle East has also chosen the company to secure its guess rooms as well.

Ebla Cham Palace, located in Syria near the city of Damascus is a 500 guest room hotel with a five star ranking.  Each room is decorated luxuriously and offers numerous amenities.  To secure its position as one of the top hotels in the area the hotel has undergone major renovations which included an upgrade on its security features.  Salto Systems regional manager, Victor Hage, said “As part of this renovation, security as the Ebla Cham Palace hotel represented a significant investment in their overall budget and Salto was able to adapt our lock escutcheons to the hotel’s existing doors without major changes having to be made.”

The device chosen by both Ebla Cham Palace and the Brew House in West Kent is known as Salto Systems’ XS4 access control system. This is a wireless system that is contactless and does not require hard wiring the mounts to the doors of each room.  This device is used with Salto’s Virtual Network or SVN.  This virtual network allows the door locks and keys to be updated, deleted, or changed quickly.  The benefit to this is that if a key were stolen the hotel would no longer need to alter or change its door lock they just use the SVN to delete the stolen keycard and issue another one.
