Ryanair puts more flights in the hands of Rugby World Cup fans
Posted on: August 17th, 2007 by Emily WelchRyanair is helping its passengers get to the Rugby World Cup. The airline recently announced that it would add more flights between England and Ireland to Paris in order to accommodate the increased demand around the important sporting event.
Three additional return flights will take passengers to Paris in time for England’s game against South Africa. One flight will leave Gatwick, the other two will leave London Stansted and arrive in Paris Beauvais.
An additional flight will take travelers from Ireland to Paris for the Ireland verses France game. The flight will take off from Dublin on September 21st at 07:00 and the return flight will leave the next day at 18:50.
One flight from Shannon will leave for Paris at 08:25 on September 29th, and another from Dublin will take off at 09:25, allowing passengers to be in France when Ireland takes on Argentina.
New Zealand is favored to win the match with odds in their favor at 4/9. Ireland has a 14/1 chance of taking away the Rugby World Cup and England is at 33/1.
