If you find yourself flying out of Philadelphia International Airport in the next little while, you may notice an interesting roof decoration on an angry home owner’s house. ‘F U FAA’ refers to a decision by the Federal Abviation Administration to change flight routes which do more than lightly disturb local residents.

For one month after the FAA changed the flight routes leaving from Philadelphia’s airport, Michael Hall and his partner Michaelene Buddy say they have to sleep with earplugs due to the constant noise from the planes.

This expletive message to the FAA was not made in haste however. Hall says he had tried many times to reach the airline on their noise complaint hotlines but the mailbox was always full. After he’d had enough of that, he decided to complain in the only way he tough tot get the message across. By staging a graphic roof protest.

“Just doing it made me feel better, but I’d still like to say what I wrote directly to the idiot head of the FAA,” said Hall.
