Radisson SAS Hotel at London Stansted Airport
Posted on: June 8th, 2007 by Neill ZerkTravelers looking for an airport hotel near Stansted Airport in London may want to consider the Radisson SAS Hotel. Its major draw is its proximity: the SAS is directly connected with the airport terminal by a covered passageway. However, the hotel has other amenities that make it equally appealing, as well.
Imagine waking up and not having to worry about hailing a cab or even timing the airport shuttle bus right. Room service wakes you up and you wander down for the ‘Grab and Run’ breakfast included with your room fee. You pile a few fresh pastries onto your plate, bite into a flaky croissant, enjoy a cup of fresh coffee and catch up on the morning news.
After breakfast, you return to your room and watch a morning show on the large LCD flat screen TV. During the commercials, you check your email via the high speed wireless internet connection in the room.
If you’re feeling frisky, you may want to have a quick work out in the PACE Health Club, or relax in the sauna and steam room. If you have some time, you could top up your tan, visit the spa for a facial and massage, go fro a swim in the ten metre pool, or grab an aerobics class.
When you’re ready to go, you check out and take a three minute walk across the passage way. Suddenly you are in the airport, checking in and ready to go, feeling fit, full and fabulous.
(Prices for a double room without parking are around £109.00 per night).
