Alton Towers Resort, the UK’s largest theme park based in Staffordshire, England, will soon unveil its new thrill ride called Thirteen, the world’s first ‘psychoaster’. The roller coaster combines physical and psychological fright to offer the most extreme experience to the riders.

The theme park said that only riders aged 16 to 55 are allowed to use the facility as they want to avoid anyone from getting injured from the ride. Another restriction for thrill seekers includes the mandatory signing of waivers that guarantee the resort of the riders’ physical and psychological health to avoid any future lawsuit.

Alton Towers’ sales and marketing director Morwenna Angove said that the roller coaster will be offering a thrilling and an unforgettable ride experience. The theme park is already known for the world’s first and tallest vertical-drop roller coaster called Oblivion, and the world’s first inverted roller coaster called Nemesis.

Moreover, Alton Towers also offers young children the enjoyable Charlie and The Chocolate Factory ride, and other traditional rides. For visitors who just want to spend a more relaxing time while in Alton Towers, they can also enjoy the beautiful views of the park through the resort’s aerial cable car.

A roller coaster named Eejanaika in Fujiyoshida, Japan is considered to be the scariest roller coaster in the world. The ride features a 249-foot drop that reaches a speed of up to 78mph. All through the ride, the seat are also rotating, either forward or backward, in a 360 degree spin.
