Partnership between Flybe and Avis will continue for another three years

Continuing their 5 year partnership, Flybe has recently announced that they will award rental car company Avis an additional three year contract. Avis will serve as the exclusive rental car company to Flybe.

Flybe’s director of marketing, Simon Lilley has said “We are delighted to have Avis on board for another three years. Our renewed partnership with this prestigious group is yet more proof that Flybe is committed to continuing to invest heavily into its ground product. Our aim is not only to maintain the loyalty of current passengers but also continue to entice increasing numbers of passengers from legacy and low cost competitors.

“Together, we will be exploring new ways of marketing to Flybe passengers and building on our already sound customer base: integrating car hire within the flight booking process will be delivered in the coming months, an initiative that will take penetration and ease of booking to new levels.”

Commercial director for avis, Daniel McCarthy has also said “We are pleased to continue building on our long standing and successful partnership with Flybe. We will support Flybe’s ambition to deliver better ground products for its customers by offering the best car rental experience in the industry, tailored around the needs of the flying passenger.
