Electronics giant Panasonic was selected by China Southern Airlines to provide the installation of the new eX2 in-flight entertainment system in the airline’s 10 new Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft starting next year when they are delivered.
eX2 is the next generation of in-flight entertainment systems, with over 50 applications and extended bandwidth to the individual passenger and greatly expanded storage capacity. China Southern Airlines is the first airline in China that will kit out its planes with the new system.
CSA is The 9th largest airline in the world, and the chief executive officer of th aviation giant, Paul Margis says, “China is the fastest growing aviation market in the world and we are proud that our premier eX2 system will be installed on the Boeing 787s, one of the most important aircraft in China Southern’s fleet of the future.”
