No jacket required; but thrust reversers? Yes.

The deadliest air disaster in Brazil’s history that saw almost 200 people burned to a crisp inside the vessel as its crashed into a fuel depot at the end of a runway has prompted TAM Airlines to take every precaution it can to prevent such a thing from ever happening again.
The disaster was not reported to have been caused solely by a malfunctioning thrust booster, used to slow the aircraft during landing, but until more information can be gathered about the causes of the accident there is a new rule in town: If the thrust reverser is not activated on an aircraft, said aircraft will not have the privilege of landing at Sao Paulo’s stubby runway.
These restrictions will be implemented until ‘more detailed information’ can be gathered about the accident. Marco Castro Aurelio, TAM Airways’ head of security wished to reiterate that even though a thrust reverser was in fact inactive on the ill-fated A320, it had not been ruled as the sole reason for the crash.
