New deals each week from easyCar

It’s a new travel year, and easyCar is offering discounted car rentals in four different countries for each week of the first month of 2008. The first country to get the bargain treatment is Australia, with savings of up to 15%. The second week sees Poland in the spotlight for savings, followed by the emerald isle- Ireland and then the month wraps up with sunny Spain.

The first week of sales in Australia has wrapped, and now it’s the chance of travellers in Poland to take advantage of special pricing. Economy and compact cars such as the Opel Coras and the Opel Astra are being discounted respectively from ₤23 and ₤26 by 5 and 10%. The intermediate sized vehicles like the Renault Megane will be discounted 10% from its regular price of ₤32 per day. If it’s a full-size you’re seeking, the Volkswagen Passat, usually priced at ₤42 a day, is now being offered at a savings of 15%.

Next week it’s Spain’s turn, and with equal savings on popular models, it’s sure to lighten a few wallets and pack a few motorways on the Iberian peninsula.
