Antonio De Palmas has been named the new president of European Union and NATO relations at the Boeing Company’s European branch. The 44-year old will be responsible for working with institutions in Europe that will expand the company’s interests in the EU market. The former communications director for the company’s Italian branch, De Palmas will step in to take the place of Joris Vos who will end his five-year tenure and retire in June.

President of Boeing International Shep Hill says, “We are very grateful for the distinguished service of Joris Vos, on whose successes in representing Boeing Antonio will be able to build. We have been growing our presence in Europe for some time, creating significant mutual economic benefits. As a partner, customer and supplier we have been active in the European aerospace community for almost 70 years. We are in Europe for the long-term and Antonio’s appointment underscores our ongoing commitment to strengthening our collaboration.”
