New Asia Pacific cruise destinations in 2009
Posted on: March 5th, 2008 by Dave BessIn its lineup of 2009 cruises, the Holland America cruise company will feature nine different voyages that focus on different areas and aspects of the Asia Pacific region. The cruises will all have ports of call in a combination of Russia, Korea, Japan, China, the Philippines, Vietnam and Taiwan. THE 2009 cruise roster will feature four first-time destinations for Holland America: Hainan, China; Taipei, Taiwan; Puerto Princesa, Philippines and Otaru, Japan. The cruises are designed to take in the sights between 14 and 19 days, depending on the package you choose, and there are options to combine legs of different journeys, giving passengers a good amount of flexibility. Ececutive vice president of marketing for Holland America Richard D Meadows says, “Asia Pacific is a must-do for experienced travelers, and Holland America Line continues to raise the bar on the premium cruise experience with our exceptional itineraries and engaging ports of call not found with other lines.
