Mondial wins major travel insurance contract with TUI Travel

Mondial Assistance has won a major deal with TUI Travel to provide travel insurance, in what is being called one of the largest contracts of its kind awarded in either UK or Ireland.

Mondial Assistance will appoint TUI Travel UK & Ireland its representative, providing underwriting capacity through its insurance division, Elvia Travel Insurance International.

Claims management and medical assistance internationally will be provided for travellers by Mondial.

Training for in-branch sales and on compliance issues will be delivered jointly with Citybond Suretravel, the provider on the contract for medical screening services.
