InterContinental Hotels Group is expanding its boutique hotel offering with the opening of a new Hotel Indigo property in the UK. This new hotel is located near Tower Bridge and has been named Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill.

The new Hotel Indigo has been converted from an office building with 44 bedrooms and 2 suites that will offer guests easy access to the most famous sights in London. It has 8 floors, 2 restaurants, a bar and views of Tower Bridge on the top floors.

Hotel Indigo is the InterContinental Hotels Group’s newest brand and launched in January last year with the Hotel Indigo London Paddington. It offers a boutique design for guests to get the same peace of mind, like they are staying with a large hotel group. The brand already has 34 properties open worldwide, and there are 53 more already planned to open, 4 of which will be in the UK.

InterContinental Hotels Group president of Europe, Middle East and Africa Kirk Kinsell says that Hotel Indigo is their youngest brand, but is already proving a success. Since opening the brand’s first property in the UK last year, he continued, they have signed 5 new hotels in Glasgow, London and Liverpool. The brand’s success is due to offering guests the best of individuality and unique design, he added.

Thai Square Group, the owner of Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill, managing director Haim Danous says that the location is close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, as well as London’s financial centre, making it an ideal place for businesspeople and tourists. They are able to provide a personalized approach to customer service since they have such a small number of rooms and suites, he added, which they believe is a winning formula for guests.
