Eurodam, the newest addition to the Holland America Line fleet, is scheduled to operate three cruises from the UK in 2010.
Sailings to the Baltic will depart from Dover in May and June of next year, and will be featured in the line’s brochure which is due out this July.
On 29 May and 9 June, 12-night and 11-night sailings will depart from Dover, with calls at Copenhagen, Warnemunde, Tallinn, Helsinki and Stockholm. Both cruises will stop in St Petersburg for two days.
A Norwegian Fjords cruise of eight nights, will depart from Dover on 21 June, calling at Alesund, Hellesylt and Bergen in Norway, and then at Invergordon and South Queensferry in Scotland, returning to Dover on 29 June.
Lynn Narraway, the managing director of UK business at Holland America, said: “We ‘tested the water’ in 2009, and following the great response to our MS Eurodam short break cruises, are now committed to expanding our ex-UK programme and offering a series of longer sailings from Dover for guests who wish to sail ex-UK.”
The cruise line executive added: “The programme is already available to book, and prices will start from £939 per person for the eight-night Norwegian Fjords cruise departing June 21. We are working on a dedicated e-brochure, which will be launched prior to the main Holland America Line 2010 brochure.”
