Grosvenor shifts house appointments
Posted on: January 11th, 2008 by Dave BessBeing London’s foremost five-star hotel is no easy task, and Grosvenor house has recently done some spring cleaning and appointed two new senior executives in its sales division. The hotel is just about finished with its multi-million pound refurbishments and renovations, and with its new title of a JW Marriott hotel, the only one in the British capital, some new blood was needed.
The new director of sales and marketing is Vicki Richards, who will be replacing Chip Stuckmeyer who has moved to the far east to oversee the construction of the Ritz Carlton hotel on the island of Macau. Steve Nunan will take up the position of Director of sales, and comes to the table with much previous experience with the Marriott brand.
“2008 will be an exciting and critical year for Grosvenor House as we approach the completion of the restoration. These two senior appointments together bring a wealth of experience to the table and I am confident that under their guidance, Grosvenor House will take its place as one of London’s most important and impressive hotels,” said hotel general manager Anthony Stewart-Moore.
