Flybe announces new booking service and flight schedule
Posted on: July 7th, 2008 by Dave BessThe new winter schedule covering the 2008 to 2009 season for Flybe was announced today. With the release the winter schedule a new booking service was also announced called “Flybe Connections.” This new booking service is an easy to use alternative that will allow customers booking Flybe reservations to select their flight plan in one easy stop, even if that includes multiple stops in their travel plans.
Flybe has added flights offered by Loganair which increases the number of destinations that customers can fly to without having to book multiple reservations through different providers. Flybe’s fleet of aircraft is one of the most fuel efficient in the industry which has allowed them to continue offering low cost flights to customers.
The Chief Commercial Officer of Flybe, Mike Rutter, stated “Flybe is now the biggest domestic airline outside of London by a country mile and in spite of the current economic climate, we’ve had a busy and successful first half of 2008. With the launch of ‘Flybe Connections’ we’re making it even easier for our UK regional air passenger to get their hands on great value thru flights at the click of a mouse.” Rutter also added that “Furthermore, our pioneering franchise agreement with Loganair has enabled us to substantially increase our route offering over the winter months. We’re excited to now be in the position to offer an intra regional travel network throughout Scotland second to none and provide Loganair passengers with easily accessible and low cost connections to destinations across the UK and regional Europe.”
