To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Beatles first North American tour, a “Rock and Roll Capital of the World” concert will draw fans from around the world to the self-proclaimed Rock n Roll capital: Cleveland, Ohio, in August.

The Public Auditorium in Cleveland – home to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame – has been chosen to symbolically host the event scheduled for August 6th to 8th. Built in 1922, it is one of only remaining venues that hosted the “The British Invasion,” of the four Liverpudlians who played in 23 cities between August 19 and September 20, 1964 and descended upon Cleveland on Sept. 15th.

Bands from around the world will take part in a fitting tribute playing on four stages, in an event that will include guests who have famously been associated with the ground breaking band over the years. Several events and promotions will lead up to the weekend.

On August 5th the famous roof top concert that ended The Beatles concert career will be reproduced on the roof of The Velvet Dog Saloon in downtown Cleveland’s trendy Warehouse Entertainment District.

The following day, over 20,000 Beatle fans are expected to descend upon the celebrated auditorium for Abbey Road On The River;for three fab-filled days of bands, art, films, food, and friends.

Finally, former member, Paul McCartney will appear live in concert on Oct. 15th at The Annual Adopt-a-Minefield Benefit Gala. Lucky winners who sign up for the “Ultimate Ticket To Ride” travel package before July 25th will be automatically registered in a draw to win a trip to this Los Angeles concert.

Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster ranging in prices from $9.00 for 1-Day general admission tickets to $59.64 for 3-Day reserved.
