Beginning from July 1st, Emirates Airlines’ flights to the Italian cities of Rome and Milan will become direct non-stop flights that will fly seven days a week. Making the Rome and Milan flights direct will greatly increase customer convenience as well as making the booking process easier for airline staff.

Emirates’ senior vice president of commercial operations , Keith Longstaff says, “This is great news for our passengers travelling in and out of this part of southern Europe. By removing stops en route, we can get customers to their chosen destination faster and in greater comfort. We can also offer more cargo space as the hold will be exclusive to either Milan or Rome, eliminating the need to share precious cargo space with another destination. These significant service improvements highlight our increasing commitment to Italy and to the customers who value our products and services.”

The Middle Eastern airline also recently launched a direct flight between Dubai and Venice, the only direct flight to Venice from anywhere in the Middle East.
