Hilton Worldwide has announced that they have signed a franchise deal with Brayford Hotels that will allow them to open a new Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Lincoln, UK. This addition builds on a brand that has seen major growth across the nation and continental Europe since 2008, when it was introduced.

The new hotel will have 115 rooms and is expected to open next year. Doubltree by Hilton, Lincoln will offer a rooftop restaurant and bar, as well as a large conference space and space for other events. It will also offer an onsite car park and a fitness centre. Guests will also be able to enjoy the area’s many historical sites, including a famous cathedral and castle.

The senior vice president of development in Europe and Africa for Hilton, Patrick Fitzgibbon, said that the new Doubletree by Hilton will be another great addition to their portfolio in the UK, which includes almost 90 properties. The brand is a key brand across the globe, he continued, and is suitable for both business and leisure travelers.

The global head of Doubletree Hotels, Rob Palleschi, said that this latest signing in Lincoln represents the potential of their brand’s growing portfolio in the region. The network already welcomes travelers from around the world, he noted.

Brayford Hotels’ Dean Wann said that Hilton Worldwide has been a great partner from the start, and they are delighted to have become a part of the company. They look forward to delivering on their promise to bring a real quality, modern hotel to Lincoln, he added.
