Avis awarded 3 year contract with Flybe

In a move that further cements a five year relationship, Flybe has tied up with Avis to be its sole car rental partner for an additional three years. Simon Lilley, Marketing Director with Flybe while elaborating on the tie-up with Avis, spoke about the company’s commitment to quality and passenger satisfaction. The goal, he said, was to widen the passenger base by offering the best to its current patrons as well as attract potential customers.
Some innovations have already been thought of, according to Lilley. One of them includes building in the option of car hire as a part of the process of booking flights. This will enable passengers to avail of car hire services with ease and allow the company to reach out to many more prospective customers.
Senior members at Avis while expressing satisfaction with the continued relationship between both organizations asserted that their organization would work towards helping achieve Flybe’s goals. The primary goal at Avis would be to ensure superior car rental services to customers.

One of the many initiatives being planned is a £1 offer. Customers are invited to pick any one out of 500 cars for £1. This offer is open till the end of July 2008. Customers flying with Flybe across UK, France, Germany, Spain and Ireland can avail of this offer. Customers are invited to log into flybe.com and search for the scheme which is hidden in the website. This initiative, it is planned, will be aggressively marketed across US national and local media.
