Arriva is offering free rides to passengers willing to participate in new study

If you are looking for a new mode of travel to get from home to work each day you might want to consider taking a glance at Arriva Midlands.   They are currently conduction a cost comparison study and are offering participants free travel on Arriva buses.  This is an attempt to get more people to park their cars and ride buses instead.

The media relations manager for Arriva, Keith Myatt said that “In the current economic climate, people are increasingly watching what they are spending and we believe that buses offer a way for people to reduce their travel costs.  Buses offer great value for people travelling in and out of towns and cities. There are no car parking charges and, with the car being left at home, it’s better for the environment.”

“An added benefit of travelling by bus is that you can sit back, relax and let the driver worry about the traffic.  Here at Arriva Midlands, we already run a number of offers to help our passengers make the most of their money including day, weekly and four-weekly tickets. Multi-journey tickets can be used as many times as you like and they are also transferable to friends and family.  Now we want to hear from people who are willing to take part in our test to compare the realities of travelling by car versus the bus,” Myatt added.

Those wishing to participate will need to contact Arriva before September 28^th.
