Discount travel website, Alpharooms.com is attempting to raise its online profile and has recently hired Mere PR to help them do the job.
Alpharooms.com is a Sheffield-based enterprise which offers discounted hotel rooms, flights, car rentals, travel insurance and airport transfers.
Mere PR has said that in the early stages, it will focus on the website’s newly launched Eastern Mediterranean products. By doing this, the company hopes to produce more media coverage and attract consumer interest.
Moving on from there, Mere plans to highlight the Spanish coastline, the Canary Islands, and the Balearics. Finally, Alpharoom’s products in city break destinations like London, Las Vegas and Prague will be featured by Mere.
Mere’s work for airline bmi attracted Alpharooms to the public relations firm. Gareth Hockey, the company’s online marketing manager explained the choice: “We were impressed with the ideas and approach demonstrated by Mere PR and are looking forward to working closely with them to educate consumers about our product and drive more traffic to the website.”
Alpharooms currently offers travelers the ability to receive travel offers directly by email. In addition, customers can book over the telephone with an agent or online. Its website also offers holiday guides on popular destinations around the world.
