This past week of Thanksgiving travel has led to the confiscation of a wide array of items that passengers were not permitted to take on board. With the significant increase of air travellers, comes more and more bizarre items that are confiscated around the country.

Security at Newark Airport report fake bullets on a belt, replicas of antique guns, kitchen knives, pool cues and a two-headed snake. Other airports in the US says they’ve had to confiscate a collection of hermit crabs and a jar containing ten human eyeballs- presumably to do with medical experimentation.

The Transport Security Administration can allow some strange items if they have advance warning they said, and the two-headed snake, which was set to appear live on the Regis and Kathie Lee show was eventually allowed aboard the aircraft.

Some items that are forbidden in the cabin can be checked in luggage, while all confiscated items become property of the federal government, who would be smart to collect all the items and open a curio shop.
