Air Malta introduces online check in

Air Malta, the national flag carrier of Malta, has launched an online check-in service for the convenience of its passengers.

Anyone travelling on Air Malta, whether or not they have baggage to check, can process their flight check-in online and print their boarding passes before leaving home.

Seat selection is also available for customers using the online service, during the period of 23 hours to two hours before the scheduled departure time of the flight.

On arriving at the terminal, those who have checked-in online in advance and have luggage to check need to stop at the web check-in counter to drop off their bags.

The online check-in service is offered for flights from Malta to EU destinations and also from gateways in the UK, including Birmingham, Gatwick and Stansted Airports to Malta.

Joe Cappello, Air Malta’s chief executive, commented on the service: “With web check-in Air Malta is continuing to invest and make use of innovative technology to enhance our customers’ experience.

He added: “We are not only simplifying the check-in process but also saving valuable time [for] our passengers.”

Air Malta offers service to Malta from several hubs in the UK, including Edinburgh, Edinburgh and Leeds-Bradford airports.
