Air France to offer better wine

Business and First Class passengers flying with Air France will soon have finer wine to enjoy with their flights.

Air France recently announced that it would improve the wine selection on their l’Espace Premiere (First Class) and l’Espace Affaires (Business Class) cabins.

Pauillac Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron 2002 2e Grand Cru Clasee and the Medoc Chateau Rollan 2004 Jean Guyon will soon be available to those non-economy guests of the airline. Air France believes that as an airline of a major wine producing country, their wine list should be more discerning and reflect more accurately the country’s status as one of the world’s top wine producers.

“As the natural heir of the French lifestyle, Air France intends to reinforce its position as the roving ambassador for French food and wines,” a spokesman said.

Although the quality of the food and wine in first class on Air France is already excellent, it can only be improved with better wine.
