Air France partners with ScotAirways
Posted on: August 11th, 2007 by Jennifer JonesOn September 3rd, the CityJet for Air France network will begin offering flights from London City Airport to two Scottish locations. The new flights will be offered in partnership with ScotAirways and will link London with Edinburgh and Dundee.
The new service will include seven daily flights between London City and Edinburgh as well as four daily flights between London City and Dundee.
The new flights will allow Scottish passengers to join Flying Blue, the Air France KLM loyalty program. More importantly, however, it will facilitate connections from Scotland to other destinations on the Continent such as Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Madrid and Nice.
Christine Ourmières, of Air France KLM in the UK and Ireland, said: “This is a great opportunity for passengers travelling from Edinburgh, Dundee and London City Airport.
“CityJet for Air France is now offering an even better schedule, a top class frequent-flyer programme, and great onward connection opportunities on these important routes, and we’re confident our service will be popular.”
Until the end of August, passengers can book their tickets with ScotAirways as usual.
Tickets for travel after September 3rd will be booked through Air France. Existing tickets for travel in September will be reissued with a new Air France flight number, but the schedule for those flights will remain unchanged.
