Air Asia launches promotional offers on its 8th anniversary

The fares will be starting from as little as 1.24 pounds for flights within Malaysia and will consist of all-in tickets. International routes will be priced slightly below five pounds.
For customers interested in these fare, bookings will be open on AirAsia’s website starting 8th December and ending on 13th December. Booking will be open for travel dates from 5th July 2010 to 30th October 2010. This booking scheme is based on a first come first serve basis, so customers are would be well-advised to hurry, in order to avoid disappointment.
The cities to which these special rates apply include Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali, Phuket, Abu Dhabi, Macau, Hong Kong, Taipei, Hanoi, Trichy, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. All the major destinations are in and around Asia.
AirAsia is one of Asia’s largest low cost airlines. It targets over 120 routes, flying to over 60 destinations. From its modest beginnings when it started with only two aircraft, the airline has now carried over 75 million passengers.
Established operational bases of the airline include myriad airports all across Asia. Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand are some of its busiest hubs. The AirAsia network stretches across India, China, Australia, Bangladesh, Vietnam and also Sri Lanka.
AirAsia was this year’s recipient of the prestigious award of ‘Best Low Cost Airline’ in the World Airline Survey by Skytrax. This comes in addition to the various other prizes that have been bestowed on the airline. Also it added a low-cost long-haul carrier named AirAsiaX to its kitty last year.
