American Airlines is scouting for the face to grace the cover of the January 2008 American Airlines in-flight magazine. It may not be American Idol, but it is the way to get your face on the cover of a magazine.
American is looking for a person with a busy travel schedule, and exceptional personal qualities. To enter, applicants should upload a photo that “they feel best depict their life on the road;” describe their travelling schedule, take a multiple choice quiz and write a haiku.
The contest will be open until the end of August this year. Short listed applicants will be featured in the magazine American Way and readers will have a chance to vote on their favorite from the top three.
In addition to being featured in the magazine, the winner will be awarded two million Hilton HHonors points redeemable at 2,800 Hilton Family hotels across the globe, one million AAdvantage miles and a two year membership to the Admirals Club.
Second prize winners will receive a prize package including a home entertainment system, a four night trip for two to a Hilton resort and membership at the Admirals Club.
Three third prize winners will be selected and receive trips for two to Hilton resorts in Cancun and Admirals Club memberships. All winners will be awarded a Panasonic Toughbook laptop computer.

The prizes sound great but I can just picture the winner now: some slick business type, probably a man who needs another laptop like I need a third nipple.
