6th anniversary of 9/11 approaching
Posted on: September 7th, 2007 by Paul FenrichNext week, Americans will mark the sixth anniversary of the attacks that struck the World Trade Towers on September 11th 2001.
Since that time, most travelers have become much more aware of terrorism and its affects and most airports have increased anti-terrorist measures drastically. Still, some travel experts suggest that perhaps passengers are starting to become complacent and forget just why those additional security measures were put into place.
Rather than be alert, experts in the travel industry are starting to wonder if passengers aren’t resigning themselves to long lines and letting their guard down while doing so.
John Friess, a reporter for News4, says that many travelers have chosen to forsake long distance vacations all together in favor of avoiding the stress and hassle presented by most airports today.
While it is true that flight delays are at an all time high this year and many airlines and airports are losing more luggage than ever, passengers should remember that all security measures are in place in the name of safety, a lesson that even six years on from 9/11, none of us should forget.

Yawn.
September 11th. Or 9-11 as it reads upside down. That’s 11-9 to all us normal folks, who won’t be superstitious over this anniversary that is going to be soooo celebrated that it is almost macabre.
Bin Laden looks ever more younger according to that “photoshopped” new tape… What’s he capable of next?
Or was it really “He” who did it in the first place. Does “He” really exist?
What do you think?
