The Alcazar has had its share of history and fame in the early years of its existence. It began life as a leisure room for ballgames in the 17th century, a printing shop and then a famous cabaret. Today it is considered to be one of the best restaurants in Paris. The interior is a testament to British design. A mezzanine and a bar are available for those who wish to experience romance while they dine. A DJ is available to add up to the experience in the place.

The menu contains another story. You can start off with a glass of champagne and the available appetizers to warm you up for the main meal. Starters can be mango and avocado with fresh herbs or tuna or Duck Foie gras and apple chutney.

After the starters, the main course will then be served. You will have a choice between the mouth watering fillet of sea bass or a leg of duck each with side dishes to suit the main course. Chocolate cake and raspberry vacherin rounds off the entire meal.

The wine selection in the restaurant also adds to the reputation of the place. A choice between Petit Chablis, Laventureux, 2004 or Côtes de Bourg, Château Mercier, 2002 is a perfect combination of the meals. Coffee is also available if you decide to stay longer.
