Stansted Airport Meets All Stipulated Requirements Of The EU Directives

Stanstead Airport has proven to be an asset for London and the Midlands, over the years. More than 14 million travelers have passed through on over 40 airlines from 100 destinations. European destinations are its main service.

The airport has a simple design, a monorail and easy connections due to its small size, making it most convenient for the North London Residents. Stansted services many budget airlines and is much less busy than the Heathrow or Gatwick Airports.

Good shopping and everything else one might need are onsite for the use of travelers as well as the general public. Duty free shops can be found within the departure hall, as well as many more popular shops such as Boots Pharmacy, HMV Music, and the Tie Rack. Several buffet restaurants and a couple of bars can also be found in the departures hall, and other services in the arrivals hall can be enjoyed by the public.

If you are unable to make a call (+44 0 870 000 0303), page 88 of ITV’s Teletext in the UK will post flight arrivals information, as will BBC’s Ceefax on page 450.

If you are meeting an international flyer at the airport go to the international arrivals concourse. You can find a station for left luggage near the ATMS. Lost property information can be retrieved in the terminal or on terminating flights. Many money exchange stations and ATMS are onsite with at least one available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Passengers with special physical needs can call +44 0 870 000 0303 for assistance, as the Stansted Airport meets all stipulated requirements of the EU Directives.
